Habla sobre ¨mille alta ciudad¨
Oh Bolivia, this place is so different. After a funny night bus, which is actually nicer than most buses down here, but I´ve never been on a bus while someone was welding on it. In the city, I stayed at a hostel that was also a brewery which was really fun. The thing that makes this city stand out so much is that it is 3,600 meters high, which is almost 12,000 feet high (Mt Rainier is 14,000). I had been in high elevation for a while now, and had taken some pills, but I still got winded walking up some of the steps around the city (that would have been totally fine otherwise, I´m sure). The only ruins in Bolivia are about an hour outside of the city, so I took a day trip there. Oh, there is a funny tradition on Sundays: women´s wrestling! It turned out to be a little bit of men´s too, and some men-women wrestling (which was hard to watch at times because it just represents something else to me), but all staged and quite funny. There were also lots of markets with crazy things, but I get a little overwhelmed and feel uncomfortable taking pictures of it.
