¿Que NO hici en Mendoza?

I don´t know if I said no to anything these couple of days in Mendoza, AKA Argentina´s wine country. My first few hours were spent catching up with crazy LiLy from BA who happened to be checking out as I was checking in (after she ¨went Dutch¨ on me... left unexpectedly). Always interesting with her around. The next day was spent driving around to different points of interest in the Andes of Mendoza. It was interesting, but I would have liked to do a bit more trekking (maybe in Salta...). I also went PARAGLIDING!! Now, I am quite afraid of heighs, but I like to challenge myself. This was so fun, but so scary. To make it even more scary, the first one I saw did not work out so well (Uh, necesita ayuda, um, soy enfermera... uh, do you need help, um, i´m a nurse...), but I think everything was ok, he just needed to go to a hospital (if you didn´t just have a baby or it´s not your first day of life, I don´t really know what to do with you). The highlight of the trip was the bike and wine tour though! Oh, so lovely! We went to a few wineries, an olive oil maker (don´t know the technical term for that), and a chocolateria. Great time in a great town.
OH, and, I tried ABSINTHE for the first time- and last, that was awful...

  2. great pics!! You tried absinthe?! I just learned about it on No Reservations (I'm becoming a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain). Did you get wasted and hallucinate?

And don't sell yourself short about the nurse thing. You can still save someone's life.
